Barry Porter – Founder & Managing Partner of EnviroCaddie LLC owned a recycling company in Boston MA. In the late 1990’s he was approached by a Fortune 500 company to recycle their aerosol cans. He was astounded at the number of cans used each year to touch up their vehicles, in order to keep them pristine. After all, image is everything! Researching his liability, if he accepted the new customer’s hazardous waste, he learned not only would his liability insurance sky rocket, his employees would be exposed to an inordiante amount of toxicity. He knew there must be a better way. After consulting with design engineers creating many prototypes, the EnviroCaddie Sprayer was invented. And, yes, Barry went on to create a special paint application program custom suited to the needs of the once, heavy user of aerosol cans. The rest is history!
